We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team in managing the Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), timesheet, and payroll functions for our US staffing business. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of financial processes, and a commitment to accuracy and compliance. As an Accountant in our organization, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth financial operations of our staffing business.

Responsibilities:

  1. Accounts Receivable (AR):

    • Generate and send accurate invoices to clients for services rendered in a timely manner.
    • Monitor and reconcile client accounts to ensure timely payment and resolve any discrepancies.
    • Follow up on overdue payments and communicate effectively with clients to resolve payment issues.
    • Maintain organized records of AR transactions, including payments, adjustments, and collections.
  2. Accounts Payable (AP):

    • Review and process vendor invoices and employee expense reports for accuracy and proper authorization.
    • Ensure timely and accurate payments to vendors, contractors, and suppliers.
    • Reconcile vendor statements, resolve discrepancies, and maintain positive vendor relationships.
    • Maintain organized records of AP transactions, including payments, adjustments, and reconciliations.
  3. Timesheet Management:

    • Collaborate with staffing team to collect and review timesheets submitted by temporary employees and contractors.
    • Verify timesheet accuracy, completeness, and proper approvals before processing.
    • Input timesheet data accurately into the payroll system for timely and accurate payment.
  4. Payroll Processing:

    • Prepare and process payroll for temporary employees and contractors in compliance with federal and state regulations.
    • Calculate and record various payroll components, including wages, overtime, bonuses, and deductions.
    • Ensure accurate and timely distribution of paychecks or direct deposits.
    • Maintain payroll records and reports for auditing and reporting purposes.
  5. Compliance and Reporting:

    • Stay current with relevant federal and state regulations related to AR, AP, timesheet, and payroll processes.
    • Assist in the preparation and submission of payroll tax reports, W-2s, and 1099s.
    • Support internal and external audits by providing accurate and organized financial data.
  6. Process Improvement:

    • Identify opportunities for process enhancements, automation, and efficiency in AR, AP, timesheet, and payroll functions.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement improvements and streamline financial processes.

Qualifications
