Maple Valley Physical Therapy is a well-respected and established outpatient orthopedic clinic in Brattleboro, Vermont. Brattleboro, located in southern Vermont, sits between the West and Connecticut rivers at an altitude of 310 feet. Our beautiful, picturesque village offers a wider variety of activities and attractions to visitors and residents. It’s a historic village with a population just over 12,000 and was the site of the first post office to issue stamps! Our facility treats a wide caseload, and we provide individualized treatments to maximize outcomes. Job Description

  • Assess patients to develop and initiate treatment plans based on the evaluation results
  • Review the physician's referral (prescription) and the patient's condition and medical records to determine the physical therapy treatment required
  • Provide direct patient care by established protocols and patient care guidelines
  • Document findings, progress, and instructions to patients and caregivers
  • Responsible for patient care performed by assistants and rehabilitation technicians
  • Complete a written plan of care, develop goals based on evaluation findings, and develop a comprehensive program to attain goals
  • Implement physical therapy treatment program and provide essential physical therapy treatments
  • Communicate effectively with patients/caregivers and professional colleagues, including physicians and insurance companies
  • Ensure timely documentation, including daily notes, weekly workers' compensation reports, progress reports, initial evaluations, discharge summaries, and incident reports

Qualifications

  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • Graduate from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapy program
  • Current state of Vermont license or (soon to have if relocating)
  • New graduates are welcome to apply!
  • Our clinical education and mentorship allow for a successful transition from school to the clinical setting

Additional Information

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $80,000 -$85,000. Salary is based on various factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geography. Additionally, this position is eligible for discretionary incentive compensation. The Company's incentive compensation plan is subject to change.
