Job Description

Are you a compassionate and detail-oriented Physical Therapist Assistant ready to make a real difference in patients' lives? We're looking for an enthusiastic professional to join our dynamic team in Monroeville, Pennsylvania. In this role, you'll work collaboratively with experienced Physical Therapists to deliver exceptional patient care in a supportive, goal-oriented environment.   • Implement individualized treatment plans developed by Physical Therapists, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and patient education
  • Provide direct patient care in an outpatient orthopedic setting, demonstrating professionalism, empathy, and attention to detail
  • Instruct patients on proper exercise techniques, body mechanics, and home exercise programs to support their recovery and independence
  • Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation and medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and clinic standards
  • Communicate effectively with patients, Physical Therapists, and other healthcare team members to ensure coordinated, high-quality care
  • Monitor patient progress and report observations to supervising Physical Therapists to support treatment plan adjustments
  • Assist with clinic operations and patient flow management, demonstrating strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient treatment environment
  • Support patients with compassion and encouragement throughout their rehabilitation journey
  • Stay current with best practices in physical therapy and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement

Qualifications

  • Graduate from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
  • Current Pennsylvania Physical Therapist Assistant license or ability to begin the licensing process promptly
  • AHA or Red Cross BLS CPR certification
  • Outpatient orthopedic experience, including exercise instruction and manual therapy techniques (preferred)
  • Sports rehabilitation or injury prevention experience (preferred)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with diverse patient populations
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple patients and tasks efficiently
  • Physical stamina and ability to perform hands-on patient care and demonstrate exercises
  • Self-directed work ethic with a proactive approach to problem-solving and clinic efficiency
  • Demonstrated ability to follow treatment protocols and work collaboratively within a team-based environment
  • Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality requirements
  • Compassionate, empathetic approach to patient care with a commitment to supporting patient goals and outcomes
  • Adaptability and resilience in a fast-paced clinical setting
  • Strong attention to detail in documentation and patient care delivery
