Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to join our team in Scottdale, PA, starting at 3 days per week, with the opportunity for additional hours as the practice continues to grow.

As a Physical Therapist at East Suburban Sports Medicine Center, you will play a vital role in helping patients restore mobility, reduce pain, and improve their overall quality of life through evidence-based treatment, personalized care plans, and hands-on therapeutic interventions. You'll work alongside a collaborative team that is committed to delivering exceptional patient outcomes in a supportive, patient-focused environment.

  • Evaluate patients' conditions and develop comprehensive treatment plans
  • Perform manual therapy techniques and teach therapeutic exercises
  • Monitor and document patient progress using electronic health records
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Educate patients and their families about treatment plans and home exercise programs
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of physical therapy techniques and best practices
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and safety protocols
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
  • Adapt treatment approaches based on patient progress and needs
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records

Qualifications

  • Master's or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from a CAPTE-accredited program
  • Current Pennsylvania state Physical Therapy license or license eligible
  • Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and therapeutic modalities
  • Excellent manual therapy and hands-on treatment skills
  • Proven experience in patient assessment and treatment planning
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in electronic health records systems
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative healthcare team
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to adapt treatment plans
  • Experience with sports rehabilitation (preferred)
  • Commitment to continuing education and professional development
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Demonstrated empathy and patience in patient care
