Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to join our team in Scottdale, PA, starting at 3 days per week, with the opportunity for additional hours as the practice continues to grow.
As a Physical Therapist at East Suburban Sports Medicine Center, you will play a vital role in helping patients restore mobility, reduce pain, and improve their overall quality of life through evidence-based treatment, personalized care plans, and hands-on therapeutic interventions. You'll work alongside a collaborative team that is committed to delivering exceptional patient outcomes in a supportive, patient-focused environment.
- Evaluate patients' conditions and develop comprehensive treatment plans
- Perform manual therapy techniques and teach therapeutic exercises
- Monitor and document patient progress using electronic health records
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Educate patients and their families about treatment plans and home exercise programs
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of physical therapy techniques and best practices
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and safety protocols
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
- Adapt treatment approaches based on patient progress and needs
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
Qualifications
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from a CAPTE-accredited program
- Current Pennsylvania state Physical Therapy license or license eligible
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and therapeutic modalities
- Excellent manual therapy and hands-on treatment skills
- Proven experience in patient assessment and treatment planning
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in electronic health records systems
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative healthcare team
- Problem-solving skills and ability to adapt treatment plans
- Experience with sports rehabilitation (preferred)
- Commitment to continuing education and professional development
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Demonstrated empathy and patience in patient care
