Job Description

Upright Citizens Brigade is seeking a dynamic and entrepreneurial Corporate Sales Representative to join our team, specializing in improv-based training and workshops for corporate clients. This role combines the excitement of the UCB product suite with the challenge of business development and sales.

Responsibilities

Business Development

  • Generate leads and build relationships through a mix of inbound inquiries and proactive outbound efforts

  • Conduct a minimum of 200 outbound lead generating activities per week, including cold emails, LinkedIn outreach, and phone calls

  • Identify and pursue opportunities for larger, more comprehensive sales packages

Sales Process Management

  • Manage the full sales cycle from initial contact to closing deals

  • Develop and present tailored workshop proposals that address specific client needs

  • Achieve quarterly sales quotas by implementing effective sales strategies

Workshop and Training Expertise

  • Gain in-depth knowledge of our improv-based training offerings and their applications in corporate settings

  • Clearly communicate the benefits of improv techniques for leadership development, team building, and communication skills

  • Conduct engaging demonstrations of our workshop methodologies during sales presentations

Client Relationship Management

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned corporate accounts

  • Maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and identify upselling opportunities

  • Collaborate with our training team to ensure seamless workshop delivery and client success

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred, ideally in Business, Communications, or Theatre Arts

  • 3+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably in training, consulting, or entertainment industries

  • Strong understanding of improvisational techniques and their applications in business settings

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment

  • Experience with CRM software and sales analytics tools
