Job Description

Main Responsibilities

1. Demand Planning & Scheduling 

  • Support material and demand planning
  • Schedule and manage procurement orders based on demand and disposition 

2. Purchase Order Execution 

  • Process requisitions into accurate, timely purchase orders
  • Monitor purchase orders and follow up on confirmations, dispatch, and delivery 
  • Verify and process order confirmations and delivery notes 
  • Call off global contracts and framework agreements 

3. Supplier & Claims Management 

  • Serve as the main contact for supplier queries and communication 
  • Handle supplier complaints, claims and escalation 
  • Maintain supplier master data including contact persons, language variants and local input 

4. Inventory & Material Management 

  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment activities 
  • Manage processes for material orders and extended workbench 

5. Process Improvement & Collaboration 

  • Work with strategic procurement colleagues to implement P2P initiatives 
  • Support process efficiency, volume consolidation and transaction cost reduction for the Area Europe
  • Collaborate with global Procurement, the Area Team Europe  and other stakeholders to ensure smooth P2P execution 

Qualifications

  • Business, technical or commercial degree; procurement diploma or equivalent experience 
  • Min. 1-3 years’ operational procurement experience in a professional organization 
  • Proficiency with SAP or equivalent ERP systems 
  • Knowledge of P2P processes, order management and procurement technology 
  • Understanding of international trade regulations, customs procedures and import/export documentation would be an advantage
  • Strong collaborative skills and positive attitude 
  • Ability to build relationships and networks across functions and leadership levels 
  • Detail-oriented, proactive and solution-driven combined with hands-on mentality
  • Strong communication skills in English—oral and written—across multiple audiences including suppliers, internal teams and management; German is a plus
