Job Description

Main responsibilities

1. Source to Contract Procurement Execution 

  • Execute sourcing activities, including tenders, RFQs and supplier proposals 
  • Evaluate supplier proposals and conduct negotiations
  • Ensure procurement decisions meet operational specifications and stakeholder needs 
  • Manage supplier selection and documentation in compliance with Procurement standards 

2. Contract & Compliance Management 

  • Maintain contract documentation, approvals and references in relevant systems 
  • Ensure supplier compliance with contractual obligations and PCM policies 
  • Support contract renewal and amendment processes 
  • Collaborate with Category Managers in Headquarters as well as the global Procurement team

3. Stakeholder Collaboration 

  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to clarify technical specifications, operational requirements and timelines 
  • Ensure procurement activities enable smooth operations and supply continuity 
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to balance cost, quality and risk objectives within the Area Europe

4. Process Improvement & Localization 

  • Identify opportunities to optimize the Source to Contract procurement process 
  • Implement process improvements in collaboration with global Procurement and the Area Europe team 
  • Develop localized area strategies for products or categories not covered by global strategies 
  • Support adoption of best practices, tools and templates within the Area Europe

5. System & Data Management 

  • Maintain procurement system records, supplier data and sourcing documentation 
  • Ensure accurate input for reporting and analytics 
  • Support digital initiatives and automation efforts within Source to Contract processes 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement or related field 
  • 3–5 years of professional experience in procurement, preferably with strategic responsibility
  • Experience in tender management, RFQs and supplier evaluation 
  • Familiarity with contracts, compliance and procurement systems (SAP preferred) 
  • Strong understanding of sourcing and Source to Contract processes 
  • Strong communication skills in English — oral and written — across multiple audiences including suppliers, internal teams and management; German is a plus
  • Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills incl. ability to clarify requirements and communicate effectively with stakeholders 
  • Proactive, solution-oriented and accountable 
  • Willingness to travel within Europe
