Field Service Engineer

Job Description
Job Summary:
This position participates with the field service team to timely and professionally
resolve customer’s request for service or repair on products produced by Ultra
Clean Technology(UCT), while driving changes back to the factory for continuous
improvement.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Responsible for on-site
installation, servicing and repair of UCT products in the field - Provide regular updates on field
failures and reliability issues at operations meetings, quality meetings,
and through written field services reports Represent UCT at customer site - Instructs and trains customers in
the operation and maintenance of UCT systems - Initiates corrective action through
the corrective action/customer complaint database and field service
reports - Communicates regularly with account
managers, sales support staff, operations groups and the customer via
phone, email, and UCT website
Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to work in a team
environment to ensure customer satisfaction - Ability to work closely
with Customers and respectfully take care of Customer needs days, nights,
and weekends - Ability to deal effectively
and tactfully with customer and internal groups - Communicates
regularly with account managers, sales support staff, operations groups
and the customer via phone, email, and UCT website - Electro-mechanical
troubleshooting abilities - Ability to work with hand
tools; good manual dexterity
Educational/Certification Requirement
- Bachelor’s degree in the field of engineering /equivalent
Work Experience:
- 5+ years field service experience in semiconductor
capital equipment or related industry highly preferred - Hands-on experience building and/or maintaining
semiconductor process equipment, preferably gas delivery systems desired
