Our Content Team represents the creative force behind tuzag’s digital concierge persona, Jaime, and the virtual assistant applications that leverage her special set of skills. Equal parts non-linear game designers and copywriters, the Content Team wields tuzag's proprietary 3-D Storytelling methodology and tuzagTCS tailored content platform to create the conversation maps and tailored message libraries that make Jaime and our applications awesome. They also help our tuzagTCS customers solve sticky tailored content development issues.

We're looking for a ringleader to nurture and challenge a group of wildly talented Content Artists capable of leading the charge toward the next generation of conversational AI-driven healthcare engagement and behavior change applications.

We're a small Digital Health company catching a growth wave, so you'll be coming in at the right time to make a huge difference in our success, culture, and direction. The Content Director gig has three key responsibilities:

1. Lead

   • Recruit, train, and manage Content Artists

   • Represent the Content Team across tuzag and with clients

   • Drive the evolution of our 3-D Storytelling methodology

2. Mentor

   • Ensure that each Content Artist pushes their own personal and professional envelopes

   • Shepherd Content Artists through their mastery of 3-D Storytelling

   • Promote and nurture a sense of community, teamwork, and collaboration among Content Artists and across the tuzag virtual landscape (we're a 100% virtual workplace since before The Uncertain Times...)

3. Create

   • Master the art of Conversation Architecture as practiced at tuzag and leverage that mastery on internal and external projects

   • Serve as Editor in Chief for all tuzag tailored content libraries

   • Write, write, write… from thought leadership pieces to tailored content library contributions, documentation, and other vessels where the perfect words are required for bringing thoughts to life 

You'll report directly to our founder and Chief Architect, and will be expected to absorb the (up to) five things he knows while, paraphrasing every American Idol contestant ever, making them your own (hell, be sure to "have fun with it", too).

• 7-10 years professional writing experience

• 3-5 years management experience

• Extreme cognitive flexibility

• Strategic/Critical thinking prowess

• Familiarity with and comfort working in an Agile environment

• Superior copy editing skills

• Ability to properly use there, their, they're | your, you're | to, too, two

• Comfort with long-form content development (journalism or PR orientation)

• RPG playing experience and affection (G is for game, not grenade, but you knew that)

• Familiarity with constructing if-then-else statements

• Experience writing for different voices (characters) and scenarios

• Screenwriting or playwriting experience preferred (you don’t have to be published, but understanding how to write dialog and plots is useful)

• Sense of humor

• Bonus: Student of pop culture

• Added bonus: a defensible stance for your favorite Doctor and/or Companion
