Job Description

Our Content Team represents the creative force behind tuzag’s digital concierge persona, Jaime, and the virtual assistant applications that leverage her special set of skills. Equal parts non-linear game designers and copywriters, the Content Team wields tuzag's proprietary 3-D Storytelling methodology and tuzagTCS tailored content platform to create the conversation maps and tailored message libraries that make Jaime and our applications awesome. They also help our tuzagTCS customers solve sticky tailored content development issues.

We’re looking for wordsmiths who are comfortable writing long-form content, scintillating dialog, crafting interactive conversations, sourcing health/well-being references, and giving Jaime the voice she needs to carry on high-fidelity, individually tailored conversations. We're a small Digital Health company catching a growth wave, so you'll be coming in at the right time to make a huge difference in our success, culture, and direction. The Content Artist gig means owning:

  • Content Architecture: Support conversation tree development and overall content structure for tuzag applications and custom client projects.

  • Subject Matter Sourcing: Conduct research and interview subject matter experts to ensure our conversations are accurate and well-informed.

  • Conversation Design and Development: Create voice/chat-based conversations

  • Content Development: Create tailored content for emails, apps, websites, SMS, etc.

  • tuzagTCS SaaS Customer Support: help the writers on our customer teams hone their 3-D Storytelling chops and discover platform usage pro tips.

  • Other duties as assigned: Hey, we’re a small company—everyone pitches in to make sure we’re covered on all fronts (within reason, of course).

You'll report directly to our Content Director, but we pride ourselves on being a flat organization and a single, cohesive team. Several of us have worked in bureaucracies and ick.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years professional writing experience

  • Extreme cognitive flexibility

  • Strategic/Critical thinking prowess

  • Familiarity with and comfort working in an Agile environment

  • Ability to properly use there, their, they're | your, you're | to, too, two

  • Comfort with long-form content development (journalism or PR orientation)

  • RPG playing experience and affection (G is for game, not grenade, but you knew that)

  • Familiarity with constructing if-then-else statements

  • Experience writing for different voices (characters) and scenarios

  • Screenwriting or playwriting experience preferred (you don’t have to be published, but understanding how to write dialog and plots is useful)

  • Sense of humor

  • Bonus: Student of pop culture

  • Added bonus: a defensible stance for your favorite Doctor and/or Companion
