Job Description
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced EHS Manager to lead and oversee all Environment, Health & Safety initiatives within the organization. The role is responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, implementing safety programs, minimizing risks, and fostering a culture of safety across operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain EHS policies, procedures, and guidelines
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and national environmental, health, and safety regulations
- Conduct risk assessments, safety audits, and inspections to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions
- Lead incident investigations and ensure proper root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions
- Plan and execute safety training programs and awareness campaigns for employees
- Monitor workplace conditions and ensure safe work practices are followed at all times
- Maintain EHS documentation, reports, and compliance records
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate EHS standards into daily operations
- Manage emergency preparedness programs, including drills and response planning
- Track EHS performance metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Liaise with external regulatory authorities and auditors
- Ensure proper waste management, pollution control, and sustainability practices
- Drive a strong safety culture across all levels of the organization
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, or related field
- 8–10 years of experience in EHS roles, preferably in manufacturing, construction, or industrial environments
- Strong knowledge of EHS regulations, standards, and compliance requirements
- Experience in safety audits, risk assessment, and incident investigation
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities
- Effective communication and training skills
- Proficiency in MS Office and EHS management systems
