The Role

We are currently looking for a Media Consultant to join our team, based in Albury or the surrounding area, who can commit to servicing customers in this region, as well as travelling for business development opportunities. 

Responsibilities

Within this role, you will be allocated a portfolio of customers

  • 80% of your energy will be focussed on working with your portfolio of customers to assess their marketing needs and develop long term relationships with Sensis, and 20% of your role will be to seek out new business from you area – both from your own network and self-spotting, as well as from lead lists provided.
  • You'll be working with Small to Medium Businesses and speaking to business owners, Managers and professional marketers.
  • This is a high-volume role where you'll manage a large pipeline and run a fast sales cycle.
  • You'll utilise warm leads from our current customer base of advertising clients, leads generated through marketing and leads you develop through your local community.
  • You’ll  maintain a current portfolio of advertising clients, deliver new business customers and importantly, sell our very exciting Software platform to both new and existing customers.

Requirements

This role could suit both an experienced sales professional, or someone wanting a start in Digital Marketing and Business software solutions. 

We’re looking for candidates who have excellent written and verbal interpersonal skills, and an ability to communicate solutions effectively to their customers and receive buy-in.  A successful Media Consultant will possess tenacity to solution design and problem solve for their clients, as well as an openness to absorb and interpret information to form conclusions, develop and implement strategies and techniques, and provide carefully considered recommendations.

As part of our team you’ll have targets to achieve and will be required to maintain a solid contact plan with your portfolio, but you’ll have the flexibility and tools to consult with your customers to discuss campaign performance and opportunities in person, via virtual (video), or phone.

 If you have an interest in technology and digital marketing with the desire to learn and develop in this area, we’ll train you and build your knowledge throughout your career.  We’ll help you cultivate a strong understanding of, and experience in using CRMs (Salesforce), an understanding of software and how it helps businesses work smarter, and a clear understanding of Digital Marketing and how it can be best employed by Regional Businesses.

This is a fulltime salaried position where you work on the road, and be based in your own home.

Your client base will be provided – You’re not asked to build your own portfolio.

You will receive a phone, laptop with wireless internet, fuel card and car expense allowance

OTE is $80,000.00 (base, car and commission) per annum, with uncapped commissions.
