Job Description

Role: Field Assistant

Location: Odessa, TX

Type: Contract

Travel: Approximately 10%–40%, based on operational needs.
Pay Rate: $22–$28/hour on W2(Inclusive all)

Work Environment

  • Frequent driving using a company vehicle.
  • Local travel throughout Odessa with occasional overnight travel to Hobbs, NM.

Position Overview

We are seeking a Field Support Specialist to support customer operations, field services, warehouse activities, and business operations within the energy industry. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent college graduate interested in building a career in field operations, customer service, sales support, and business operations.

The role serves as the primary link between customers, field personnel, warehouse operations, and internal business teams, ensuring timely product deliveries, accurate documentation, and excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

Customer & Field Support

  • Deliver products and materials to customer drilling and production sites.
  • Build strong relationships with customers and field personnel.
  • Support field operations by coordinating deliveries and service activities.
  • Assist customers with product recommendations and service-related questions.
  • Communicate customer needs with operations and field teams.

Operations & Administrative Support

  • Maintain accurate service documentation and operational records.
  • Assist with billing and service-related paperwork.
  • Update operational information in company systems.
  • Track deliveries, service updates, and customer requests.
  • Work closely with Operations, Sales, and Field Service teams.

Warehouse & Inventory

  • Load and unload materials safely.
  • Perform shipping and receiving activities.
  • Pick, stage, and distribute inventory.
  • Conduct cycle counts and inventory audits.
  • Lift and move materials up to 50 lbs.

Health, Safety & Compliance

  • Follow Client HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) policies.
  • Safely operate company vehicles.
  • Maintain a clean driving record.
  • Promote a safe work environment in both warehouse and field settings.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in:
    • Business
    • Communications
    • Marketing
    • Management
    • or related field
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Comfortable driving 4–6 hours daily to customer locations.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Willingness to travel locally and occasionally stay overnight in Hobbs, NM.
