We are currently looking for you as a head of engineering in Potsdam, Berlin or remotely to become part of our pioneering work.

You own the team's commitment to ship a stable and scalable product:

• Team leadership: Lead both frontend and backend teams laterally by mentoring. Own velocity and commitments towards company objectives.

• Cross-functional collaboration: Lead the engineering side of a product development process in which there is close collaboration with product and design teams. 

• Test-driven development: Ensure component-based and test-driven development and own direct feedback to clients about fixed bugs.

• Infrastructure and architecture: Orchestrate our cloud infrastructure (CICD), evaluate and recommend tools, technologies and processes to ensure the highest quality product platform

• Team enablement: Develop systematic code standards and documentation that ensures quick onboarding of new engineers.

• Scalability: Develop architectural blueprints and data structures that ensure high code-quality and fast product evolution.

Hard skills                                                                                                                

• Experienced technology-leader with high proficiency in React (5 years +), Typescript, Jest, GraphQL, AppSync, Serverless, AWS ecosystem, security and open source technologies

• Strong and well-proven leadership and management qualities to build a team around agile processes

• ML-experience and data-engineering a plus.
