Job Description
This position is responsible for managing technical projects and programs within the agency portfolio. The successful candidate for this role should have a minimum of five years in Program Management and a PMP certification. The role will engage with a wide range of Internal stakeholders to support of their initiatives and will be responsible for the overall quality and performance of all contractor and subcontractor work performed.
The qualified candidate will be managing the technical team who will be performing end-to-end web design, development, content management, and customer technical support services for an estimated 30-40 Site owners.
- Work closely with the agency stakeholders and cross-functional teams to plan and develop scope, deliverables, required resources, work plan, budget, and timing for new IT initiatives
- Manage program and project teams, coordinating and delegating cross-project initiatives.
- Maintain our organizational standards of customer satisfaction, quality of service, and performance.
- Facilitate and manage technical projects, develop and track project milestones
- Continuously identify and close process gaps to improve productivity
- Estimate work efforts and manage competing priorities
- Provide leadership to the cross-functional teams by helping define clear, realistic goals - clears barriers to team progress and manages the resolution/mitigation of project risks and issues.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Project Management Professional PMP certification from Project Management Institute (PMI)
- Must be a U.S Citizen
- 4+ years of experience managing web development, web content management, or information systems projects and operations.
- Strong Technical knowledge of SharePoint, InfoPath, Power Apps, and Power Automate.
- Exceptional leadership, time management, facilitation, and organizational skills
- Experience with reporting, planning, change management, and communication.
- Outstanding working knowledge of IT principles and policies to communicate with IT and other technical stakeholders.
Desired qualifications:
- Four year degree from an accredited college
- Knowledge of Federal grant programs and/or community development programs at government agencies
