Job Description

Immediate opening for a technical Project Manager for large/complex information technology task orders, group of task orders or projects.  In this role, the qualified candidate will ensure timely and successful performance of tasks and will work with the onsite Program Manager or customer representative.   Under guidance from the Program Manager, responsible for the overall management of specific tasks/projects and ensure technical solutions and schedules are implemented in a timely manner.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform enterprise-wide horizontal integration planning and interfaces to other functional systems.
  • Monitor workload and coordinate technical resources in accordance with needed and available skill sets in order to meet customer needs. 
  • Manage and control material and asset inventory, and enforce all safety regulations.
  • Serve as an escalation point for critical situations and technical issues to ensure proper focus, communication, timely resolution, and relationship management.
  • Provide organizational leadership to maintain and grow the customer base by: driving customer relations; establishing effective vendor relations; meeting service level goals for quality requirements.
  • Establish strong working relationships across internal teams and interface partners.
  • Drive process improvements and work-flow efficiencies by analyzing overall business performance.
  • May perform duties including: maintaining targeted project completion schedules, monitoring work in progress activities, ensuring adherence to scope of work, and project status reporting.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent experience, in Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering or Business, or other related field and 10 years of experience with 7 years of information systems management experience. Masters Degree may substitute for years of experience.
  • Ability to participate in interviewing, hiring and training new team members·       
  • Knowledge of industry-relevant products and services
  • Understanding of strategic business plans and associated processes
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
