Job Description

Toomey Technologies is actively seeking  a candidate  that  has experience as an IT Project Manager in Medical Information Services.   You will  be responsible for leading teams and collaborating with the client in strategic problem solving. This position is for you if you have a  passion for Government missions, have experience in information technology (IT) and enjoy applying your knowledge to solve problems.  

  • The qualified candidate will provide an effective structure, enabling the delivery of programs, services and management processes by providing high-quality information technology solutions and services. 
  • You will provide direct support to agency stakeholders in the planning and execution of IT requirements,   including resolving issues, managing resources, project coordination, interfacing with client representatives regarding the projects progress, oversight of project accounting, training, mentoring and coaching.
  • Perform assigned tasks and meet the requested deadlines as assigned by the customer's IT department.
  • Meet regularly with IT department leadership and provide status updates on current and upcoming projects.
  • Meet regularly with clinical and administrative departmental stakeholders to evaluate requirements and recommend course of action within the scope and abilities of the IT department.
  •  Assist with developing an IT strategic vision in alignment with  the customer's  leadership.
  • Provide formal and informal briefings to customer staff as required to ensure they have situational awareness of ongoing and upcoming IT projects.
  • Ensure compliance utilizing Pembroke methodology.

Qualifications

  • U.S Citizenship Required
  • Secret Clearance
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management or Information Technology
  • 2-5 years of experience  
  • PMP Certified
  • Experienced in Microsoft Office programs
  • Experience with applying information technology (IT) to solve business problems
  • Experience with industry standard escalation/resolution procedures for IT services using Remedy.
  • Be customer service oriented.
  • Communicate and articulate well.
  • Experience in a military environment preferred
