Monday - Friday mostly 8:30am-5:30pm located in Mt. Kisco, NY in Westchester County.

We are seeking an experienced, compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our group.

Your responsibilities as a pain management nurse may include:

  • Assessing individual medical and psychosocial patient care needs
  • Working with physician to develop a plan of care
  • Educating patients on treatments and recovery
  • Documenting patient response to treatment

You will be tasked with helping patients manage their pain including patient assessment in order to determine the cause and severity of their pain. You may determine which form of medication will effectively help them. Educating patients on how they should cope with their pain or discomfort is also a crucial part of this position. Through keen observation and discussion you will do your best to insure that patients do not form addictive habits from any narcotic pain medications they’re given. Because of high addiction rates, pain management nurses must also try to find alternative pain management techniques that don’t always require the use of narcotics.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum of one year experience as a registered nurse or two years as a licensed practical nurse in a pertinent practice area. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.S.N.). Procedural experience. Current BLS certification. At least two years of recent pertinent professional nursing experience in a hospital, medical office, or other clinical setting.

Additional Information
