Job Description

In this role, you will help drive ownership and accountability across social (paid and organic), content marketing and PR channels.

Owns strategy and execution of social media (paid and organic) to accelerate new buyer growth-

  • Translates business initiatives and marketing strategy into social calendars and tactical plans for YT, FB, IG, TW
  • Develops unique messaging and paid distribution plans suited for each channel and stage of the customer journey
  • Directs and reviews creative work to ensure strategic and quality standards are being met
  • Measures and reports performance regularly
  • Works to improve performance of social channels
  • Regularly reviews industry and competitive trends in order to develop insights and implications for messaging and channels
  • Adapts media for social channels and/or works with internal creative team and production partners to develop content for social channels
  • Writes post copy and metadata for all social content
  • Publishes valuable and engaging content to social media channels as outlined in social calendars and that attracts our target groups
  • Works with media agency to implement social CRM campaigns for prospecting and retargeting audiences
  • Manages our community
  • Manages implementation of content marketing strategy-
  • Develop long and short form branded content
  • Develops social distribution plans and drive-to strategies
  • Measures and reports performance regularly, and adapts accordingly
  • Manages public relations and corporate communications-
  • Works with PR agency to develop press releases and PR launch plans for major business initiatives and partnerships
  • Measures and reports performance regularly

Qualifications

At least 5+ years of marketing experience, preferably with at least 3 years client-side or in marketing operations

  • Extensive experience developing effective paid social media campaigns on YT, FB, IG, TW
  • Skilled at Facebook and Instagram analytics, building custom audiences and creating paid media campaigns
  • Experience at high-growth e-commerce, media, or start-up companies
  • Experience creating content for social media, either working with content creators, creatives and production companies in the past
  • Experience building communities using social media
  • Understands data
  • Can identify trends and implications and take action as a result
