Job Description


Every decision you will make every strategy, every tactic, and every initiative will be informed by
user/ customer growth and driving the cost of acquisition further down.
You will work closely with marketing managers to implement your ideas
around the most effective, efficient ways to grow this product. You will
 use our existing marketing channels AND find new ones to reach people,
use A/B Testing, data analytics, users’ feedback, optimization, and
automation to drive growth. Your mission is to use your knowledge of
online distribution and coordinate with internal departments to find
ingenious, technology-based avenues for growth and push boundaries.

This is a cross-functional role where a deep collaboration between the
product, professional / retail marketing, professional / retail sales,
UX and engineering teams is paramount. You will work alongside these
teams to implement and execute measurable growth strategies that result
in attracting potential customers to seek out and discover the product
in an active process.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Understand the product to create, own and drive lead generation strategy, and
    establish rapid experimentation. Identify the most effective and
    efficient ways to grow product sales
  • Work side-by-side with both film editors and editors, channel sales and marketing teams to
    implement innovative marketing campaigns with the ultimate goal of
    increasing engagement, conversion, and user retention for the product.
  • Bring an analytical approach to marketing automation and work with internal
    department leads to set targets for campaigns, conduct A/B tests, and
    report on and communicate results to stakeholders
  • Work with marketing and advertising departments to implement inbound marketing
    strategies to get visitors to product landing pages, provide them with a
     reason to visit our service and experience the product.
  • Collaborate on effective content marketing strategies and maintain a calendar of
    content distribution around the product - continuously optimize it for
    results.
  • Develop a model of your customer behavior, and use web
    analytics to assist, guide and align channel marketing & product
    management efforts.

Tactical Responsibilities

  • Work with marketing to create shareable and viral content regularly around
    the product - such as blogs, e-books,video, infographics, slideshare
    presentations, whitepapers & webinars
  • Work with our UX and creative designers to create compelling HTML emails, landing pages, and
    forms with persuasive copy and imagery for max engagement.
  • Work with marketing to implement & automate email drip campaigns based on
     specific timelines /milestones or user actions such as product
    onboarding, abandoned shopping carts, recommendations, renewals,
    confirmations, engagement, product training, and managing
    unsubscribes/renewals.
  • Set up a database of email addresses of leads based on engagement with the marketing content.
  • Define, measure and maintain growth & adoption metrics for the product such as (but not limited to) the following
  • Quantitative : Traffic Analysis / User Engagement
  • Qualitative : Usability / Session/ Usage Monitoring etc
  • Comparative : A/B, Multivariate Testing
  • Competitive: Monitoring & Tracking key competitor marketing related activities


Qualifications


3-5 years experience in growth marketing with a strong track record of success

* Proven success across digital channels, including SEM, display, retargeting, programmatic, and social (paid & organic)

* Experience with multi-million dollar ad budgets

* Strong analytics / tracking capability with a data-driven mindset and a natural curiosity that demands answers * Experience with multivariate testing and website landing pages to align and maximize advertising campaign results

* Understanding of creative and development workflows

* Strong verbal and written communication skills
 * A self-starter who knows how to get things done

* The belief that collaborating with people throughout the organization helps achieve the best outcomes

* The desire and ability to thrive in a fast moving, entrepreneurial, high-growth environment; you will need to be
comfortable multi-tasking and changing direction if results or business needs dictate

* You must be comfortable being scrappy and rolling up your sleeves; you won’t just develop ideas – you’ll be involved in implementing them too
