Are you passionate about inventory management and keen on contributing to a dynamic team environment? Temperzone Operations – Auckland Plant is seeking an experienced Inventory Controller to join our dedicated team. As an Inventory Controller, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate inventory records, resolving discrepancies, and supporting process improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities in the role:

Efficiently support inventory management by resolving issues, ensuring accurate records through thorough stock transfer checks and cycle counts, and promptly investigating any discrepancies. Conduct essential inventory tasks, including scheduled cycle counting and variance analysis, while reviewing documentation to monitor and troubleshoot quantity inconsistencies. Additionally, update Warehouse SOPs, contribute to process improvement initiatives, and conduct spot checks to identify root causes of stock inaccuracies during receipts, despatches, and allocation picks.

What you will bring to the role:

Inventory control experience in a warehouse setting, strong communication and problem-solving skills, critical thinking abilities with prior experience managing pick paths and inventory maintenance, relationship-building capabilities, a commitment to continuous improvement and adherence to health and safety protocols, proficiency in computer skills especially Microsoft Excel and Office, familiarity with an ERP system, and awareness as an MPI Approved person.

• RF knowledge.
• Current Driver’s Licence Class 1.
• Current Forklift certification for counterbalance and high reach forklift is desirable.
• Current certification for order picker.
