Job Description

Job Details: Under minimal supervision, the Quality Control Associate will be responsible for activities including sample and data management and equipment and instrumentation operation and maintenance in a highly dynamic, team environment.

 

1. Perform sample collection and sample handling to support GMP operations

2. Organizing samples and maintaining laboratory 5S requirements

3. Generate complete, accurate, and concise laboratory documentation using electronic systems and laboratory notebooks

4. Operate and maintain specialized laboratory equipment and instrumentation

5. Participate in laboratory investigations and audits as necessary

6. Perform general laboratory housekeeping activities

7. Maintain training compliance and proficiency

8. At all times, comply with safety guidelines, cGMPs and other applicable regulatory requirements

 

Basic Qualifications:

1. Professional work experience in a fast-paced, flexible GxP Laboratory

2. Experience supporting laboratory programs

3. Demonstrated written and oral communication skills

4. Demonstrated ability to be flexible and adaptable to support business needs

 

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Experience with sample management and management of shipments.

2. Demonstrated proficiency with electronic systems (LIMS, LMES, Track wise, etc.)

3. Exposure to Operational Excellence initiatives including Lean Manufacturing and 5S

4. Demonstrated project management and presentation skills, and proven ability to manage priorities effectively.

Strong Communication

 

Day to Day Responsibilities:       

Daily handling of samples for Quality Control. Managing samples physically and electronically in the SM-LIMS system. Handling of sample shipments and processing of stability sample for laboratory.

No Laboratory experiences
