At TechTree we want to help companies get in front of the right candidates and enable an upgraded engineering centric recruitment process including unique features. We are looking for a highly motivated freelance talent partner who is exceptional in finding the right fit but also understands and supports the tech candidates throughout the process.
Job Description
As a Freelance Talent Partner within Techtree network, you will be able to support the growth of exciting companies backed by top Venture Capital firms in Europe. Our clients include companies backed by investors like: Index, Accel, Local Globe, Seedcamp, EQT Ventures and many more great investors. Our goal is helping great engineers from all over the world - especially female and minority engineers - roles at fast-growing VC backed tech companies. We particularly care about the experience of engineers and supporting them in the process.
We achieve this with (a) network powered job discovery (b) career mentoring (c) events with engineers from top tech companies hosted by dev communities. We’re also removing barriers for companies who want to be inclusive. We do this by making it simple to engage thousands of engineers worldwide, made accessible through hundreds of communities, that companies engage via a Patreon model.
You will spend most of your time:
- Matching our clients with relevantly experienced & highly skilled engineers
- Monitoring the stage of the recruitment process and take the feedback from the candidate
- Supporting candidates in setting up meetings with the client
- Responsible for screening process and candidate support
- Supporting in the communications with the candidate verbally and written
- Connecting with our stakeholders and recruitment team to have the most accurate details of the role and the company
- Looking continuously for new ways to attract a diverse pool of talent
- Help to optimize the recruitment process by getting the client’s feedback
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years experience of sourcing and recruiting for tech focused roles
- You are passionate about talent. You are interested in candidates beyond the job you have to fill. You take a keen interest in their desires and motivations and want to help them grow their careers.
- You understand what makes a person a good fit for a job.
- You enjoy building strong relationships and know how to communicate around highly personal topics such as motivation, compensation, career progression.
- Good attention to detail and able to prioritise effectively with excellent communication skills.
- You have the ambition and ability to close candidates in a highly competitive environment.

This is a success fee based role.
