Production Services Lead – Hadoop
Location: Plano, TX
Duration: 6 Months
Mode of Hire: W2 contract

Required Skills and Experience:
• Degree in Computer Science/ Engineering/Science/Math
• 5+ years of IT experience
• Production Support Experience
• Technical and functional knowledge of Hadoop Ecosystem
• SQL Knowledge (Impala/HiveQL/Teradata)
• Experience in MapReduce, Sqoop, Flume and Kafka
• Excellent problem solving skills
• Ability to effectively manage in a cross-matrix environment with Global resources
• Must be able to provide on call after hours support
• Strong interpersonal skills and communication techniques – written and verbal.
• Ability to monitor and effectively manage job production problems and drive process and system improvements to enhance efficiency
• Tools: MS Office, Visio
