Day Shift : Monday to Thursday 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Night Shift : Monday to Thursday 5:30 p.m. to 4:00 a.m. (5$/H night shift premium)

  • 24$/h to 27$/h depending on experience

Job Description

We're looking for a hard-working, eager to learn individual to join our team!

The individual is responsible to operate the equipment efficiently to meet productivity and product quality performance objectives, demonstrate a positive attitude and open-mindedness in order to optimize teamwork. 

This individual must have industrial mechanic competencies and be able to learn how to adjust, troubleshoot, repair and operate machinery in the facility. 

Tasks:

  • Operate all the consoles and make the required adjustments to the various components of the equipment;
  • Ensure the production of products according to the production schedule;
  • Use different tools and/or equipment. Responsible for the tools made available to him;
  • Ensure the proper functioning of equipment and perform preventive maintenance. Find solutions to production problems;
  • Coordinate the execution of tasks within his team (8 people);
  • Provide staff training;
  • Ensure that each procedure is respected (quality, health and safety, etc.);
  • Ensure that manufactured products meet quality standards;
  • Identify issues and improve quality standards;
  • Actively participate in production meetings and share relevant information;
  • Ensure the cleaning of premises and equipment in order to keep the work environment clean and safe;
  • Participate in the development of OHS correction and prevention solutions;
  • Complete the various reports;
  • Collaborate with the production team to optimize the manufacturing process, work in continuous improvement mode to eliminate problems at the source.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a machine operator;
  • Mechanical skills;
  • Understand the operation of production equipment;
  • Work in a structured way (organization and planning);
  • Be in good physical shape;
  • Leadership, sense of responsibility, proactive;
  • Ability to solve problems.
