Job Description

Techo-Bloc’s Hardscape Specialists are the link between our customers and their satisfaction! As a member of the Field Service Crew, you will meet with clients and dealers to perform onsite repairs, cleaning and installations. Those passionate about our products and people will thrive in this customer-facing role. Here is a snapshot of your day-to-day:

• Travel to our regionally based customers and Techo-Bloc dealers to investigate product issues, make repairs, clean and answer client questions. Carry out minor installations, as needed.

• Support our Client Support Coordinator by documenting, photographing and submitting necessary case paperwork.

• Act as the point of contact for our dealer’s merchandising and maintenance requests; update labeling, signage & rack replacements, as needed.

• Maintain and distribute marketing collateral to dealers (catalogues, brochures, spec guides)

• Provide excellent customer service by sharing knowledge, tips and answering questions.

Please note that this position will be travel-based locally (home daily), with some overnight visits required (about 20%).

Qualifications

  • 2+ years’ hardscape experience (installations, cleaning of pavers and walls, etc)
  • Experienced with the operation of concrete saws
  • Valid Driver’s License; A clean driving record is required for this position.
  • Comfortable operating a trailer, as needed.
  • Previous customer service experience is a plus.
  • Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors.

The employee must frequently transport and move items up to 75 pounds and occasionally up to 80 pounds. Must be able to closely inspect materials and products. Employee must be able to identify color blends, variances, non-conforming color blends with up to three different colors on each product. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to remain stationary or move throughout the workstations; also includes the ability to ascend and descend steps and ladders; and position self in tight spaces. The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms, talk or hear.
