Job Title: Software Engineer (.NET) – Senior

Location: Beirut, Lebanon

As Software Engineer you will:

• Work in our agile and entrepreneurial team.
• Have an excellent opportunity to collaborate with an international team developing industry leading innovative software.
• Develop high quality innovative software in close coordination with the engineering team, and report directly to the team lead.
• Develop new enhancements and modify existing code in the proprietary portal platform.
• Develop and code new software applications
• Update existing features in C# and VB.NET on the Microsoft .NET Framework.
• Develop and code integration interfaces including Techgenies’ REST API.
• Design and create new application architectures.
• Maintain system-wide technical knowledge of the software platform, grasping the functions of each component within the application and understanding interactions and dependencies among components.
• Conduct initial technical research, design, develop, and code new software including revisions to the existing software on the .NET framework.
• Create high-level architectural specifications by which the engineering team will develop, ensuring feasibility, functionality, and integration with existing systems and platforms.
• Identify areas for platform innovations and improvements, overseeing implementation.
• Coordinate with project owners and clients on product development efforts and systems integration projects.
• Liaise with CTO, system administrator and engineering lead for strategic product architecture planning.
• Collaborate well with local and remote engineering team members and Techgenies staff.
• Practice secure coding standards.
• Support other engineers through technical aspects of projects to completion.

To qualify you must have:

• 7+ years experience as a successful software developer.
• Current knowledge and experience with new technologies and practices
• Secure coding practices and software security concepts
• Programing and coding skills using:
  • C#, VB.NET, SQL, AJAX, .NET F
  • Angular.JS, Angular, SPA
  • REST APIs
• Experience in Microsoft.NET and software development practices and patterns required
• Ability to communicate professionally both orally and in writing
• Ability to coordinate with teams, both local and remote
• Excellent problem solving, organizational, and decision-making skills
• A Bachelor's degree with major course work in computer science, or a related field is generally required.
