Job Description

tap|QA seeks an experienced Lead Test Automation engineer for a full-time position within our client - one of the most exciting, up-and-coming software companies in the Twin Cities!

 


Please note: due to the hiring requirements of the client, applicants MUST be authorized to work in the United States for any employer.  The client will not be in a position to sponsor any employment-based Visas such as an H1B. 

 


The Lead Test Automation Engineer and their team will work closely with Product Management, Development, and Quality Assurance to devise and execute automation plans for all of the client's software products. As a key component of their agile development process, this individidual and their team will become product experts that drive how our platform evolves and how features are implemented, tested, and monitored.

Qualifications

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE IS:

  • Excited to build and lead an awesome team of test automation engineers
  • Fluent in test automation theory and Behavior-Driven Development
  • An expert in BDD frameworks and automation tools
  • Comfortable not only within those tools and frameworks, and also at a SQL prompt or a Linux command line
  • An accomplished web application tester with leadership experience to go along with several years of production-quality SaaS application exposure
  • A fountain of knowledge on general testing theory, testing levels, and testing types such as risk-based, accessibility, and performance testing
  • Eager to be part of an open, collaborative team; learning from experts and mentoring less experienced teammates

Compensation:  $100-115K, DOE
