This role will help shape the future of how TAL attracts and hires great people. In this role, you’ll lead a full review of our TA operating model—simplifying our technology landscape, uplifting capability, and embedding AI‑functionality that drives efficiencies, insights and creates a standout experience for candidates and hiring managers. Working closely with leaders across our business, you’ll guide the review and uplift of our ATS, evaluate future‑state operating models, and champion strong adoption of new digital and AI capabilities. This is a high‑impact role for someone who brings strategic thinking, change leadership and a passion for building modern, scalable talent solutions, but happy to get into the detail and roll up your sleeves when required.

You will:

  • Act as the primary SME for TA transformation, partnering with the Program Manager to translate strategy into clear operational requirements aligned to business needs and technology capabilities.
  • Lead the design and documentation of the future‑state TA operating model, including processes, role clarity, and ways of working.
  • Redesign end‑to‑end TA workflows to create standardised, scalable, and automated processes from workforce planning through to onboarding handoff.
  • Engage Executives, BU Leaders, and hiring managers to gather insights, validate design decisions, and build strong support for the transformation.
  • Collaborate with the TA Manager to optimise vendor partnerships and service delivery models across the TA ecosystem

Qualifications

  • Extensive end-to-end talent acquisition experience leading in a complex, matrixed organisations, with deep expertise across the full TA lifecycle from workforce planning through onboarding
  • Expert knowledge of recruitment technology landscapes including Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), HRIS platforms, AI-enabled screening tools, and recruitment marketing technologies.
  • Strong business analysis capabilities with ability to translate business requirements into functional specifications, user stories, and technical documentation.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills, with experience engaging senior executives, hiring managers, and cross-functional teams
  • Deep understanding of talent acquisition best practices, industry trends, and emerging technologies including AI, automation, and predictive analytics
