The Director of Analytics Development is responsible for designing and implementing a data-driven analytics platform that provides transparency and actionable insights into business performance. This role will define key metrics, integrate data sources, and develop reporting solutions to support informed decision-making across the organization. Reporting to the VP of Business Systems, the Director will play a key role in enhancing operational efficiency, financial oversight, and overall business performance.  

RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Develop and implement a company-wide analytics strategy to drive business performance insights.  
• Establish key metrics and reporting frameworks across financial, operational, and management functions.  
• Ensure data integrity by identifying and resolving inconsistencies.  
• Create integrated reports and dashboards to track financial performance, project efficiency, vendor activity, cash flow, and labor productivity.  
• Collaborate with Finance, Accounting, IT, and Operations to align reporting with business needs.  
• Identify risks and trends early, providing proactive insights to prevent potential issues.  
• Support continuous improvement initiatives by leveraging data to optimize decision-making.  

• Bachelor’s degree required in Business Analytics, Finance, Data Science, or a related field; Master’s preferred.  
• 10+ years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, or data strategy roles.  
• Expertise in Power BI, Tableau, SQL, and financial/operational reporting.  
• Strong knowledge of business performance metrics and financial analysis.  
• Industry experience in construction, operations, or similar fields is a plus.   ​​​​​​​

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on actionable insights.  
• Proficiency in data visualization tools and reporting software.  
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities across departments.  
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.  
• Experience leading data governance initiatives to ensure accuracy and accessibility.
