Job Description
Project Description:
- Control of internet access and network infrastructure.
- Management of millions of parallel sessions.
- Provision of key functions such as:
- Authentication / Authorization / Accounting (AAA).
- Dynamic provisioning
- Support of all-IP services (e.g. MagentaTV, IP telephony).
Activity Description:
- Execute and validate software releases through structured testing.
- Develop and enhance test automation frameworks.
- Maintain and evolve CI/CD pipelines and test environments.
- Operate and support test systems, including deployment of software deliveries
- Design, execute, and document platform-level test cases, including reporting for formal acceptance
- Define and refine test cases to extend coverage and validate new functionalities
- Integrate solutions into the Deutsche Telekom test framework
- Ensure proper documentation within internal tool systems
- Perform troubleshooting and provide operational support during testing and rollout phases
- Support internal and external stakeholders in the test environment
Qualifications
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of IP network infrastructure.
- Advanced Linux expertise.
- Experience with IP protocols (Radius, Diameter, SIP, SOAP).
- Cloud technologies: containers, Kubernetes, Docker.
- Database knowledge (Redis, SQL databases).
- Experience with software testing methodologies (manual and automated testing).
- Familiarity with testing tools (e.g., Jira, Robot Framework).
- CI/CD toolchain experience (e.g., Git, Ansible, Cucumber, Flux, Argo).
- Basic programming skills (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript) are an advantage.
- Experience with AI-supported testing tools is a plus.
- Strong understanding of requirements and specifications.
- English proficiency (minimum B2 level).
Methodological Competencies
- Analytical and structured thinking.
- Detail-oriented and precise working style.
- Strong skills in defect analysis and documentation.
- Solid understanding of testing processes (e.g., Agile, Scrum).
