Job Description

The successful individual will be an integral part of the Implementation team, and will play a major role in designing the system to ensure that the Cúram solution is configured and customized to meet the Ministry needs in the most effective way possible.

Project Duties of the Resource:

The following activities are typical of this role:

Working with Business Analysts and Subject Matter Experts, create detailed design specifications, and make suggestions for various solutions within Cúram to meet business needs with the goal of minimizing customizations

    Ensure that designs are complete and documented, understood by the Ministry, and kept up to date

    Maintain control of the Design Documents

    Estimating effort for development of solutions

    Working closely with developers to ensure the solution follows the design

    Quality Assurance of work produced by others on the team including initial testing of solutions

    Working closely with Test team to ensure that all functionality has test cases written and automated test scripts are updated as required.

Mandatory Requirements:

    Cúram Developer Certification OR Cúram Business Analysis Certification

    Minimum of 3 years experience in configuration, design, development, and conversions with Cúram version 5 or higher

    Minimum of 6 years Analyst experience in a Java/J2EE or .net environment.

Other Required Skills:

    Thorough understanding of Cúram functionality, including the Cúram Data Model; experience with

Cúram V6 is preferred

    Experience in Client Server, Multi-tier and Web environment using Java, IBM Websphere, Cúram framework and J2EE technologies

    Experience with user interface design and development

    Ability to create and write technical documents including functional specifications; please cite specific examples of documents that have been authored

    Experience with all levels of testing - unit, load, integration, system and acceptance testing

    Experience working with testers to ensure the final product is stable and meets required functionality

    Strong technical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to isolate root causes

    Demonstrated excellence in interpersonal and communication skills

    Experience with UML, Use Cases, and RUP methodology

Other Qualifications:

    Experience with Oracle ETL tools such as Oracle Warehouse Builder (OWB)

    Experience with Cognos BI
