Job Description

One of the biggest banking giants in Australia currently has an excellent opportunity for an experienced JAVA Trading System Developer with a passion for cutting-edge development!

The focus of this role will be build a Derivatives Trading System from the ground up. This will be done utilising Java, unix and distributed caching.

This would suit a Senior Developer that has prior experience building a derivatives trading systems from scratch!

The ideal candidate will have the following skills:

• Core Java server-side development skills in Financial Markets
• Solid Unix skills 
• Proven understanding of distributed caching and caching technologies (Gemfire and/or Coherence preferred)
• Proven system design and architecture skills for trading systems

• Strong analytical skills
