Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Lead evaluation, design, and deployment of standardized mechanization and automation solutions across R&D stations and trialing operations
- Drive scalability and continuous improvement of mechanization frameworks to enhance productivity and cost efficiency
- Pilot and implement new technologies (e.g., precision agriculture, IoT, smart equipment) to support Smart / Connected Farm initiatives
- Partner with station teams to optimize mechanized field operations and develop SOPs for consistent execution
- Establish and manage preventive maintenance programs to ensure reliability, safety, and uptime of all equipment
- Oversee asset lifecycle management including planning, repair, upgrades, and replacement of rolling stock
- Manage vendors, cross-functional stakeholders, and mechanization projects (budget, timeline, delivery, and training)
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or higher in Agricultural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field
- Minimum 2-5 years of experience in agricultural mechanization, farm operations, or engineering roles
- Proven track record in deploying mechanization, automation, or engineering improvement projects
- Strong knowledge of agricultural machinery, equipment systems, and preventive maintenance practices
- Familiarity with precision agriculture technologies (e.g., GPS, sensors, IoT, digital farming tools)

- Strong project management and stakeholder management skills in a cross-functional environment
- Hands-on, problem-solving mindset with adaptability to innovation and new technologies
