Job Description
The FX & DA Trading Department oversees the execution and liquidity production process in FX, Precious Metals, Digital Assets, and Macro Futures.
The department is focusing on the design and operation of electronic trading systems with the core mission to provide an excellent execution service to clients, to profitably manage the market risk of the bank, and to ensure orderly operations and orderly functioning of markets.
With our technology and data-driven approach we add an alpha to our product quality and increase the profitability of our business with improvements from the supply side: not only by sourcing smarter but as well by producing liquidity.
The department consists of 3 teams with a functional focus: Spot, STIR, and Execution.
To strengthen our Execution team we are looking to hire a Trader:
The Execution Team is the operational backbone of the department ensuring competitive liquidity and orderly execution across all platforms and all asset classes with a 24/5 on-site presence. The team as well runs the Physical Spot FX Risk Book and collaborates with the Spot and STIR teams to ensure profitable operation of all books at all times. The Execution Team is typically the first point of contact for our clients and internal stakeholders including Sales, IT, Controlling, Treasury, Middle and Back Office. The team works closely with engineers and project managers to continuously improve our products and operations.
As a Trader your key responsibilities will be:
- Quoting and Executing clients’ spot, forward and options orders in FX, Precious Metals, Commodity Futures, Index Futures, and Stocks CFDs,
- Monitoring electronic pricing & trading systems, trade flow, liquidity,
- Ensuring efficient execution with Liquidity Providers.
- Manage Banks positions with Prime Brokers and improve financing conditions in collaboration with the treasury department,
- Liaise with internal stakeholders such as risk, distribution, development, project, and IT departments to improve the services and the profitability of the bank,
- Follow market news, events, and identify risks & opportunities,
- Ensuring orderly operations and supporting neighboring departments in the trade booking process.
- Reporting of statistics around execution, trade flow, liquidity, risk & profitability
Qualifications
- University Degree in a STEM or Economics.
- Result oriented, reliable and a team player.
- Good understanding of FX Market, its micro structure and its liquidity network.
- Previous experience in FX Spot trading is a strong plus.
- Understanding of trading systems architecture and API connectivity.
- Ability to work on a rotating shift schedule.
- Fluent in English.
