Job Description
Integrated within the brand's ROBOT and AGV Technical Service team, the role involves working with internal clients (Sales, Marketing) as well as external customers. You will participate in the pre-sales phase by defining the product that best suits client needs and, in the implementation, /post-sales phase in troubleshooting, maintenance and installations.
We are looking for a person to join the South West Europe Region Robotics department as a Field Service Engineer to provide technical support for Robots and AGV/AMR within the robotics division, both to internal clients (Sales, Marketing) and external clients (pre-sales in defining needs and product solutions) and post-sales in troubleshooting, maintenance and installations.
Main Responabilities:
- Perform preventive, corrective maintenance and repairs at customer sites. Travel, maintenance/repair, and commissioning of equipment.
- Carry out repair and/or maintenance tasks at the Stäubli workshop in St. Quirze del Vallès.
- Internal reporting of tasks performed.
- Hotline support: Be part of the technical service team attending the assistance hotline.
- Support the sales team with technical assistance in simulations and technical definition of new projects.
- Support the sales team with assembly and participation in technical simulations for new projects.
- Provide product training to customers at Stäubli facilities, including maintenance and operator training.
- Assist the technical service of other divisions, as well as the warehouse if there is high workload and availability.
- Ensure proper operation of installed or repaired machines.
- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and loyalty by maintaining company standards.
- Achieve the objectives of the technical department.
Qualifications
- Minimum requirement: vocational training (CFGS/CFGM) in robotics or demonstrable prior experience.
- At least 1 year of experience in robot or industrial equipment maintenance.
- Availability for national and international travel.
- Valid driving license in Spain.
- Languages: English B2 level – mandatory speaking, understanding and writing & Spanish Advance Level
- A person with problem-solving skills, teamwork ability, adaptability to change and resilience.
Additional Information
- Position with an estimate of 80% of working time at customer sites and 20% in the office.
- Mobility to the South West Europe Region could be required punctually
- A company car will be provided to perform job duties.
- Need for national and international travel, approximately 30% of the time.
