Job Description
THE OPPORTUNITY
Wearing a belt that matches your well-tailored suit and shoes? Great, walk into our offices. NuORDER is seeking a HR Manager to come in and own the HR function for a rapidly growing team. This candidate will be an integral part in shaping the culture and working environment at NuORDER. The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of HR business processes and an understanding of how to be a successful business partner in a results-driven, fast-paced startup.
Specifically…
- Formulate and champion culture initiatives to make NuORDER a first class working environment.
- Recruitment and onboarding of key talent across the organization.
- Creation, implementation and communication of HR policies.
- Continuous improvement of people initiatives and processes.
- Create and implement procedures and guidelines for the onboarding and training of new staff.
- Implementation of performance review and development processes.
- Management and administration of HR related payroll and benefits.
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory policies and HR requirements.
Qualifications
REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS/PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES
- EDUCATION: BA/BS or equivalent experience.
- EXPERIENCE: 4+ years of relevant HR management experience preferably within a startup or similar fast paced environment
- Previous experience managing and advising on all HR related best practice rules and guidelines
- Experience working with Trinet or other similar third party HR service providers.
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations.
- Proven ability to motivate, lead and collaborate with business partners.
- Ability to drive change in a fast-paced environment; start-up experience is a huge plus.
- Excitement for fashion and technology.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
