Job Description

THE OPPORTUNITY

 

Wearing a belt that matches your well-tailored suit and shoes? Great, walk into our offices. NuORDER is seeking a motivated and experienced Full Stack Developer who can hit the ground running, quickly taking on tasks and applying their prior experience a to tackle the challenges presented.

 

Specifically…

 

  • Help develop slick user interfaces for NuORDER’s web based SaaS platform.
  • Work in tandem with architects and other developers to develop and code new features as well as maintain existing systems.
  • Write clean, functional code, cross browser compatible code on schedule.
  • Stay up to date with current web technologies as well as take lead in implementing programming best practices into NuORDER’s development team.
  • Stay current with new technologies programming best practices and procedures.
  • Work in a cross-functional, collaborative environment alongside a group of talented and passionate developers. 

Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS/PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES

 

  • EDUCATION: BA/BS in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent experience.
  • EXPERIENCE: 3+ years of development experience in both UI and backend development.
  • Expert level understanding of JavaScript development and best practices, including thorough understanding of closure and prototypal inheritance. Extensive experience working with highly asynchronous code (experience with promises a plus!)
  • Experience with RESTful web services
  • Strong experience with MongoDB
  • Thorough understanding of cross browser development / cross browser issues
  • Proven experience with consumer facing web technologies such as CSS/HTML.
