Job Description

As a sales development representative at Starschema, you will help turn leads into qualified opportunities and to move them through the sales pipeline. What You Will Do Daily

  • Respond to inbound demand of new business, email inquiries and web leads driven from marketing initiatives.
  • Proactively contact prospects via outbound calling and digital outreach  — targeting prospects in support of sales and marketing campaign initiatives.
  • Secure key customer information to identify validated “sales ready” leads and prospective clients to nurture for future opportunities.
  • Communicate with prospects in a consultative selling environment.
  • Present Starschema value propositions for solutions and services to increase buyer interest.
  • Qualify prospects, set appointments and communicate opportunity details to the Starschema sales rep.
  • Professionally communicate with all appropriate levels of decision makers and influencers.
  • Research companies and contacts to identify lead potential and to be able to communicate effectively with them during the development process.
  • Educating and developing prospects until they are ready to speak with a sales manager.
  • Maintaining all contacts/opportunities and recording all progress in Salesforce.
  • Collaborating with sales and marketing teams to ensure the company’s goals and targets are met.

Qualifications

We Want to Hear from You, If…

  • You have a minimum of two years of experience in an SDR, DDR or similar sales role.
  • You are confident and have professional communication skills - written, verbal, presentation.
  • You are knowledgeable about technology trends and how technology is being applied to address business challenges, and you enjoy talking about them.
  • You have the Aptitude to learn and use innovative selling technologies (e.g., analytics, social media) to network, engage clients, identify new business opportunities, and translate business requirements into technology solutions.
  • You have the ability to demonstrate technical products and create and present sales decks.
  • You are fluent using SalesForce.
  • You have excellent written and verbal English language skills.
  • You are self-motivated, self-directed and have a diligent work ethic.
  • You can work independently
