Key responsibilities:

  • Support the International Payments Product team in delivering key strategic initiatives by providing analytical, documentation, and execution support. 
  • Conduct end-to-end product analysis of existing international payment products (e.g. CFC accounts), covering systems, processes, pricing, reporting, and supporting product artefacts. 
  • Assist in reviewing and documenting current-state systems and processing flows, identifying inefficiencies, risks, and opportunities for improvement. 
  • Analyse product pricing structures, fees, and cost drivers, supporting recommendations for optimisation and alignment with market and strategic objectives. 
  • Support the evaluation and enhancement of management and regulatory reporting, ensuring data accuracy, relevance, and usability for decision-making. 
  • Review and maintain product documentation and artefacts, including product specs, terms and conditions, operating manuals, and governance materials. 
  • Assist with assessing frontline enablement, including training materials, product guides, and FAQs, to ensure accurate product understanding and consistent customer experience. 
  • Compile insights and findings into clear presentations and reports for product managers and senior stakeholders. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g. operations, technology, compliance, finance, and business channels) to support product analysis and implementation activities. 
  • Contribute to process mapping and redesign initiatives aimed at improving operational efficiency, scalability, and customer experience within international payments. 
  • Support project tracking and coordination, ensuring key deliverables, dependencies, and risks are documented and communicated. 
  • Develop a strong understanding of international payments, foreign currency products, and regulatory considerations, building foundational product and domain expertise.

Qualifications

Postgraduate qualification (recently completed or completing in 2026):

  • BSc Product Design and Innovation 
  • BSc Engineering (Product Development) 
  • BSc Information Technology Product Development 
  • BCom Marketing 
  • BCom Business Management or specialised innovative fields for Product Management and innovation. 

Postgraduate to be completed by 31 December 2026.

Additional Information

Minimum requirements:

  • Must be a South African citizen. 
  • Should you have work experience, it should not exceed 12 months.  
  • Matric certificate to be submitted with application. 
  • Full academic transcripts to be submitted with application for undergraduate and postgraduate studies. 

Programme duration: 12 months
