The Core Java Dev can sit in New Jersey or Boston but Backbone must sit in Jersey City.

1. JavaScript Development Experience (Backbone - core concepts, "Best Practices", Design patterns, coding from scratch)

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Develop fully responsive (RWD) next generation single page trading (stock snapshot) applications that are built using a custom media query framework to allow simplification of media breakpoints, css classes and collision detection of data (truncation of data via css Pseudo-classes).

• Develop several transport layer components using WebSockets (SocketIO) and NodeJS.

• Develop several object oriented JavaScript / AngularJS component within the front-end Angular framework, create custom directives for re-usable components (multi-field form elements, background file uploads, leveraged angular resources for all data access, encapsulating URLs and standardizing data access interfaces..

• Develop Data Visualization D3JS widgets like charts, bar graphs and complex illustrations of data in an AngularJS framework.

• Experience using git source code management systems using git within a large team.

• Resolves application defects using jira bug tracking software.
