MAIN OBJECTIVES & PURPOSE:

The objective of Client Services is to provide our clients with a top of the range service and ensure a dedicated follow-up of their products. This team is the center point of contact for all clients regarding all Post Trade activities. Mumbai Client Services team deals with a range of products like Fixed Income and Equity Derivatives products, Forex (Currency) products, Commodities, Collateral, Repo, etc.
Mumbai Client Services does not interact directly with clients but supports client services teams in other platforms globally.

KEY ACTIVITIES

Event Notifications:
- Several events may occur during the life of a structured product. Mumbai Client Services is in charge of the communication and explanation of such events to clients.
- Preparation of customized event notifications for GECD & FI Products
- Ensure accurate information delivered to client.
- Ensure the quality control is implemented

Audit Confirmation :
- Audit Confirmation is done for capital market and corporate banking clients
- Mumbai Client Services is responsible for capturing the audit requests and preparing Audit Reports demanded by parties like Auditors, Institutional clients, Internal Clients, etc.
- Outstanding positions of BNP Paribas clients are produced for their auditors using Business Objects and other available tools.
- Ensure accurate information delivered to client/ auditor
- Ensure the quality control is implemented

Fact-sheets:
- The Client Services Team produces weekly / monthly factsheets for various products which compares the performance of the product to that of Market Performance
- Ensure accurate information delivered to client.
- Ensure the quality control is implemented

Valuation Checks:
- The Regional Clients Services publishes valuations for each deal on various media (Bloomberg, Reuters, etc) and in various formats specified by the trading desk.
- The scope of Mumbai Client Services is to check the various Media i.e. Pages on Reuters, Bloomberg, MyBook, Telekur has to be checked and any discrepancy in data/ old data/ wrong data had to be reported to the regional client services team
- Daily reconciliation file has to be sent to critical clients

Bloomberg Page Creation:
- Mumbai Client Services is responsible to publish new products on Bloomberg using macro enabled excel.
- Ensure accurate information is published to client
- Ensure the quality control is implemented

PROJECTS, MIS AND AD-HOC REQUESTS:
- Participate in client services related projects across the regions (lean, efficiency projects, etc)
- Preparing MIS / KPI reports for the team and the Management.

Essential Interpersonal Skills
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills with counterparties and internal stakeholders (middle offices, marketers, traders, credit and legal)
- Time Management and Team Player – ability to adapt to the varying demands of the team.
- Knowledge of derivative products –(Credit, Equity, Interest Rate, FX , Equity , Commodity)
- Proactive, self-disciplined, self-motivated with ability to work effectively under pressure

Language
- Good command of both written and spoken English is a must

Other Value-Added Skills
- Advanced skills in MS-Office including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access
- Knowledge of VBA programming preferred
- Familiarity with Bloomberg & Reuters terminal (Preferred)

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

(1) University graduate or equivalent
(2) 2+ years’ experience in project management and/or reporting
(3) Experience in related tasks in an international banking environment is preferable
