OVERVIEW

Working in Rights & Revenue Protection (RRP), the Anti-Piracy Specialist will be responsible for contributing to various aspects relating to the protection and enforcement of Sportradar’s audio-visual products. The role demands an experienced and diligent intelligence professional with direct experience in tackling the issues surrounding illegal streaming.

 

THE CHALLENGE

  • Conduct intelligence investigations using an all-source approach across a range of tasks
  • Perform OSINT and CYBINT/DNINT research and analysis in order to capture evidence and deliver actionable recommendations
  • Develop and maintain key aspects of RRP’s anti-piracy provision including identification and implementation of new technologies
  • Produce a variety of products including both short and extensive written intelligence reports as well as legal briefings
  • Research and evaluate jurisdictional obstacles for content protection

 

YOUR PROFILE

  • 2+ years experience in a related operational field; content protection, internet investigations, illegal stream prevention, rights protection, law-enforcement or cyber security
  • Proficient and demonstrable expertise in OSINT, HUMINT and CYBINT/DNINT methodologies and trade craft
  • Evidence of professional engagement with the wider anti-piracy ecosystem (ISPs, app hosts, social media platforms, other communication channels)
  • Fluency in English essential and another priority language preferred (Arabic, Mandarin, Russian, Turkish or Vietnamese)
  • Some knowledge of programming languages (JavaScript, Python, Ruby, HTML) preferred
  • Knowledge and interest in sports, international betting and anti-piracy landscapes
  • Aware of IP protection legislation and implications
  • Experience of intelligence analysis software including i2 Analyst Notebook
  • Exceptional report writing and presentation skills
  • Strict personal standards of confidentiality and security
  • Flexible to adapt to changing priorities, able to work to tight deadlines and willingness to travel
