Job Description

The purpose of this project is to address a request from TMC to establish a financial reporting framework in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (“IFRS”). In order to comply with TMC’s request, TMCC completed a Gap Analysis study to uncover remediation areas in process, policy, data and technology by comparing our current reporting framework of US GAAP and the desired goal of IFRS. This project aims to address those remediation items that were uncovered as part of the study and to implement processes and a solution that fully complies with IFRS standards.

This resource will be responsible for Project Management of the Accounting Team and will work closely with our National Manager Accounting, New Standards Adoption (Project Leader) and coordinate with Project Managers from other disciplines. This individual will need to be strategic and forward thinking and understand the implications/impacts of an IFRS Implementation on the Accounting Group.
