Job Description

Your Mission

As an Automation & Industrialization Specialist, you will be the technical cornerstone of the Felgueiras plant’s autonomy. You will manage automation modifications for both existing equipment and new industrialization projects. You will play a dual role: driving technical improvements and providing high-level analytical support for complex maintenance interventions to ensure maximum equipment performance.

Key Responsibilities

Industrialization & Project Excellence

  • Manage automation modifications and improvements on existing machines.
  • Lead the automation scope within new industrialization projects.
  • Carry out PLC, drive, and HMI program modifications (Siemens TIA Portal, Step7, Proface).
  • Write and follow control plans during acceptance phases at suppliers and on-site.
  • Collaborate in product development by defining industrial and technical constraints.
  • Program and optimize robot cycles to enhance productivity.
  • Deploy and ensure compliance with Group automation standards.

Advanced Technical Support & Maintenance

  • Provide Level 2/3 support for maintenance interventions requiring advanced PLC analysis.
  • Analyze malfunctions related to MES, recipe management, and signal processing.
  • Conduct functional and organic analyses for automation systems.
  • Modify and validate electrical diagrams to ensure system reliability.
  • Update and challenge risk analysis (FMEA/AMDEC) and technical documentation.

Governance & Performance

  • Monitor KPIs related to Security, Quality, Cost, Lead time, and Equipment performance.
  • Participate in the "Metier" network to share know-how and develop functional standards.
  • Ensure technical watch and benchmark automation technologies.

Qualifications

What We're Looking For

  • Education: Degree in Automation, Electrical Engineering, or similar (BAC +2/3 or Bac+5).
  • Experience: 3 – 5 years of experience in a similar role within an industrial environment (Special machinery or assembly processes preferred).
  • Technical Mastery: * Proficiency in Siemens (TIA Portal, Step7,) and Proface (GP Pro, WinCC).
    • Strong knowledge of industrial networks (Profinet, Profibus) and Variable Speed Drives.
    • Experience in Safety environments and risk analysis.
  • Soft Skills: Autonomous, team-oriented, and highly field-focused. Strong analytical mindset with a "force de proposition" attitude.
  • Languages: Intermediate English (B2 level required).
