Project – the aim you’ll have

Join a strategic engagement delivered by a Software Mind for a global energy-sector client, focused on building a scalable internal developer platform in a multi-account cloud environment. You will collaborate with distributed teams of developers and data scientists. Key strengths include strong cloud-native architecture, high automation maturity (IaC, CI/CD), and a focus on security, standardization, and self-service enablement.

Position – how you’ll contribute

  • Design, build, and operate core platform components for the client
  • Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code and platform standards
  • Deliver reusable “golden paths” and automation for multiple teams
  • Support multi-account cloud architecture and governance setup
  • Enable secure cross-account access and deployment mechanisms
  • Build CI/CD pipelines and developer self-service capabilities
  • Operate container platforms and cloud networking components
  • Provide observability, logging, and platform reliability solutions

Qualifications

Expectations – the experience you need

  • Strong experience in cloud platforms (AWS preferred, Azure/GCP acceptable)
  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and container-based architectures
  • Proven track record in building and operating production systems at scale
  • Solid knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible)
  • Experience in designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
  • Programming/scripting skills (e.g. Python, TypeScript, Bash, Java/Kotlin)
  • Understanding of cloud and network security principles
  • Experience with observability tools (logging, metrics, tracing, e.g. ELK/Kibana)
  • Knowledge of Git and modern development workflows
  • Ability to design scalable, highly available cloud architectures
  • Strong documentation and communication skills in English
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum and collaborative team environments

Additional skills – the edge you have

  • Experience with Internal Developer Platforms (IDP) and platform engineering concepts
  • Familiarity with building developer self-service portals and service catalogs
