Project – the aim you’ll have:

Join our Cloud Mind Service Unit to lead the migration of complex, enterprise-scale environments from on-premises infrastructure to Microsoft Azure for a EU - based client. You’ll architect and execute cloud migration strategies, modernize legacy systems, and ensure seamless transitions with minimal business disruption. Work in a highly skilled team, drive innovation with automation and AI, and collaborate with international stakeholders.

Job Description

Position – how you’ll contribute

  • Architect and lead end-to-end migrations from on-premises to Azure, including assessment, planning, execution, and optimization.
  • Design and implement secure, scalable Azure landing zones aligned with enterprise standards (CAF, governance, RBAC, policy, networking).
  • Drive automation-first operations: develop and maintain Terraform modules, enforce IaC standards, and build CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps).
  • Modernize legacy workloads, re-platform applications, and optimize cloud-native architectures (networking, security, DR, data protection).
  • Establish robust observability: Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, alerting, dashboards, and KQL.
  • Mentor and uplift engineering teams, lead technical workshops, and contribute to internal playbooks and standards.
  • Collaborate with delivery and client teams to ensure successful migration outcomes, solution reviews, and presales support.
  • Champion continuous improvement in reliability, performance, and cost efficiency across Azure platforms.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years in IT, with 5+ years as a Cloud/Platform/DevOps Engineer focused on Microsoft Azure in live, enterprise environments.
  • Proven experience leading large-scale migrations from on-premises to Azure (multi subscription/tenant, policy & RBAC, governance).
  • Deep expertise in designing and managing Azure Landing Zones, hybrid connectivity, and enterprise guardrails.
  • Strong Infrastructure as Code skills (Terraform modules, workspaces), and CI/CD (Azure DevOps) for infrastructure and applications.
  • Advanced knowledge of networking (VNet, routing, DNS, VPN/ExpressRoute, Private Link), identity (Entra ID, PIM), security (Defender for Cloud, hardening, secrets), and observability (Azure Monitor, Log Analytics)
  • Experience authoring clear technical documentation: architecture diagrams, runbooks, migration playbooks.
  • Hands-on with containers (Docker) and Kubernetes/AKS operations, or willingness to ramp up quickly
  • Scripting in PowerShell and/or Python for automation and tooling Azure certifications (e.g., AZ-104, AZ-305, AZ- 400, AZ-500); CKA/CKAD a plus.
  • Excellent English communication skills; comfortable collaborating with international stakeholders.

  • Experience with FinOps (cost governance, budgets, tagging, rightsizing).
  • Exposure to AI/ML workloads (Azure OpenAI/AI Services) from an infrastructure perspective.
