About the role
Our client is in the automobile industry, with their technology, market intelligence, products, and services, they make it easier for their clients to buy, sell, own, or use a car by maximizing value from dealers, manufacturers, and car shoppers.
The Senior .Net Developer thrives on designing simple and scalable solutions to complex problems and delivering leading-edge software products for our customers. We are looking for exceptionally ambitious and communicative hands-on individuals who are comfortable collaborating within Agile as part of a cross-functional team, have experience working in fast-paced environments, and who have the passion and skills to take our product offerings to the next level.
Some of the responsibilities for the role include:
- Being a passionate and flexible engineer, collaborate with your team to achieve and exceed the goal to build, deploy, monitor, and operate a highly performing and highly available production system
- Design, develop, and unit test web and API applications
- Create build and release definitions to support CI/CD pipeline
- Participate in Scrum activities including planning, estimating, standups, and retrospectives.
- Collaborate with IT team and business stakeholders on project delivery
- Documentation of technical designs and knowledge base content
- Learn other enterprise systems to assist with production support and Helpdesk tickets
- Construct and manage services published to both internal and external consumers
- Write readable, maintainable, and efficient code
- Enhance the performance and reliability of our current solutions
- Collaborate with team members on best practices, code reviews, internal tools, and process improvements
- Evangelize new ideas within your team as well as across teams
- Explore open-source or industry-standard solutions that could be fit for the organization

Qualifications
+90% English written and oral (at least B2 level) with excellent communication skills
- 4+ years with the following core technologies and development frameworks:
- NET Tech stack (Framework & core)
- C#, Web API, ADO.NET, some ORM (EF, NHibernate, Dapper, etc.)
- Understand REST
- Experience with ASP.NET Webforms
- JavaScript, jQuery, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Development and publishing of private Nuget packages
- SQL Server and basic database design (normalization, indexing, query optimization)
- Experience in DevOps, CI/CD, and Agile
- Hands-on Scrum or Kanban experience
- Ability to take business requests and break them down into manageable steps to achieve a goal
- Capable of designing a moderately sized software project, putting together a project plan to accomplish it, tracking progress, and executing it with a team
- Able to see the big picture of how systems interact with one another
Additional Information
Nice to have:
- Experience developing native cloud solutions. AWS preferred, Azure
- Salesforce experience particularly Apex, Visualforce, Flows, and Lightning components
- Experience with a JavaScript framework such as Angular or Vue
- Experience with distributed systems and modern architectures
