Job Description
Sodexo is currently recruiting suitably qualified and highly motivated Project Supervisors to join our Projects Team, working across multiple locations within the Pilbara region. Reporting to the Project Lead, you'll be responsible for planning, implementing, and executing major and minor project programs, while providing advice and support to work teams and contractors. These are permanent, full-time positions offered on a FIFO 8:6 roster, with flights ex-Perth.
Key Duties
- Supervise employee relations and manage your work crew and contractors, ensuring employees are trained and held accountable for their tasks
- Ensure timely evaluation and scoping of work requests prior to approval within the work management planning process
- Participate in weekly pre-planning, planning, and scheduling meetings to align and commit resources to the work schedule
- Ensure safe execution of maintenance work in line with the signed-off schedule
- Deliver minor and capital works, including scope development, commercial input, and tendering
- Manage the planning and execution of unplanned work and re-scheduling of tasks
- Review work execution performance with team members, identify gaps, and take corrective action to improve performance
- Manage and review events, ensuring escalation protocols are complied with
- Provide input into the development of work strategies
- Ensure end-to-end process compliance
Qualifications
- Able to identify foreseeable issues and address them logically, with safety front of mind at all times
- Maintains accurate time and material records and submits reports as required
- Trade-relevant qualification with equivalent industry and organisational experience
- Working at Heights Licence (mandatory)
- Construction White Card (mandatory)
- Schedule 26 Statutory Supervisor Training (desirable)
- Previous work experience within the mining sector highly regarded
- Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong desire to foster a team-oriented approach to achieving tasks
