Sodexo are currently recruiting for an experienced Travel and Accommodation Manager to join the Sodexo team based in our head office in Balcatta on a 6 Month Full Time Contract.
This position is responsible for the travel and accommodation team across the IFMS Contract for Sodexo and will act as the primary point of contact for ALL travel and Accommodation related concerns.

The Travel and Accommodation Manager is responsible for the following:

  • Manage the daily operations of the IFMS Travel and Accommodation team to ensure requests are actioned in accordance with required process and timeframes.
  • Demonstrate effective leadership to motivate and drive successful performance and customer centric behaviours.
  • Demonstrate high levels of travel and accommodation management knowledge and expertise to drive ongoing improvement and ensure effective service delivery.
  • Primary point of escalation for the client, responsive to addressing and proactively resolving issues, collaboratively.
  • Monitor and report on compliance to operating procedures and service standards.
  • Assists with preparation of monthly financial invoicing and annual budgets including 21-day forecast and site accommodation usage billing. 
  • Manage Sodexo site room utilisation.
  • Manage site administration training and induction and ongoing support to ensure effective and consistent performance across sites.
  • Identify and implement performance improvement initiatives and measure outcomes.
  • Oversee reporting requirements for the client and internal stakeholders and deliver requirements within agreed timeframes.
  • Provide education to internal stakeholders in the area of request management and approval processes.
  • Recommend opportunities to reduce cost and create efficiencies in system and process.

Qualifications

To be successful, you’ll need:   

  • Demonstrated experience managing teams in a high volume, challenging environment.
  • Confident decision making with the ability to work autonomously and operate well under pressure.
  • Previous experience of client management, with excellent communication and influencing skills.
  • Experience in the travel and accommodation sector utilising booking systems.
  • Experience working in remote sites is desirable.
  • IT literate, confidently able to navigate multiple systems.
  • Experience developing reports and analysing performance trends.
